More Ways to Help

Many employers provide the ability for employees to make charitable contributions via payroll deduction and for those donations to be designated to charities of your choice.  

We are an approved charity with Benevity, a philanthropic platform that many large employers use.  If your company uses Benevity, you can designate your employee giving donations to go directly to us!  Also, you may be able to increase the impact of your gift since many companies will also match the charitable contributions you make.  

Please check with your Human Resources department to find out more on the employee giving and company match programs your company may offer. 

A charitable giving fund or donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a tax-advantaged charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations you care about. When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a DAF, you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction and those funds can be invested for tax-free growth.  You can then grant funds to be given from your account to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity, like Travel to Hope. 

Please consult with your financial or tax advisor for more details on Charitable Giving Funds or DAFs and the role they can play as part of your comprehensive financial and charitable giving plan.

A gift of appreciated stock may provide more benefits than a cash gift. By donating stock to Travel to Hope, you receive tax-savings and other benefits while also supporting cancer patients to travel for treatment.

By donating these securities to Travel to Hope, you avoid capital gains tax, retain your cash assets, and receive a charitable tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock.

Leave a legacy.  Consider including Travel to Hope in your estate planning by making a specific bequest in your will or by naming Travel to Hope as a designated beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy.

Have a birthday coming up?  Getting married?  Celebrating an anniversary or some other occasion?  Consider creating a Facebook Fundraiser to have others help you celebrate and make a difference for cancer patients in need by designating Travel to Hope as your charity of choice.  

You may be able to designate Travel to Hope as your charity of choice for loyalty programs that offer charitable donations for purchases at the stores you already shop.  

If you are a Kroger customer and have a Kroger Rewards card, you can designate us by logging into your Kroger account, select "My Account" then "Community Rewards" and search for Travel to Hope Inc by name and then click "Enroll" and Travel to Hope will receive a donation every time you shop!  

If you shop at a business that has a loyalty rewards program for charities and don't see us listed as a registered charity in their program, please email us at Info@TraveltoHope.org and we will work to get added.
